I especially like your last line. LOL.
Yesterday I took my nap early enough so that I was wide awake for our Kansas City CHIEFS football game against the Dallas Cowboys."
We lost.

I am glad that the two of you were able to get out after the snow.

Does it not seem so short since you pondered about leaving for the sunshine. Of course time changes ones conception. Even I feel the need for sunshine we still get a dose occasionally. I hope you take vitamin supplements, a frost took the dahlias last night. Now I shall have to chance leaving them in the ground some weigh half an hundred weight with soil attached, Archie has got pains up you know where so I have to restrain him from being super man.

can't believe you had snow... it was like spring here this weekend, but is rainy and colder now. Our trees are so confused. Some the leaves have fallen and others are still bright green. Feels more like early Oct.

I think November's gloom is just a way of making us appreciate
the heat and bright sunlight of August. I was lucky enough to get a glimpse of the full moon a few nights ago - bigger than usual, coasting among the clouds...

Kabu
A very happy day and evening to you and Wiley, dear Kabu. Snow, rain and early darkness, reminders that it's time to start the wait for Spring again.
