I just cannot believe that she cannot use some local anesthetic!!!! You actually are very brave because it is very painful having this done. poor baby gnome.

Well I hope you had your toes done as well. I'll tell you a little horror story I had an ingrowing toe nail ,now the chiropodist said we are not allowed to use anesthetics. So I said OK I shall just scream. She said try not to keep tensing your foot it makes me sweat. This is about the 6th time she has dug down the side of my big toe. Today she hit pay dirt she literally pulled a section of toe nail out into the light of day there it lay like a new born toe baby beside its mummy when I stopped swearing I was congratulated for being so brave, there are no medals available at present but I could post a photo of the toe baby if you ever feel bored.

What a pretty color. Love it. Trying to figure out my iPhone today, I managed to take a close up of my face. It was horrible with an intense look and horrible frown and wrinkled forehead from scrunching my face and hair sticking out all directions. Then I couldn't even figure out how to erase the picture.

What beautiful hands! Honestly, how do you do it? I'm shamed into recognizing the need to at least file my nails... LOL! Today is National Coffee Day in the US, they say. I also like my morning coffee, always have. Maybe it's because my mom could make the best coffee, unlike her daughter. She used the percolator on the stove.

I've got to have my coffee, too. Especially now that the mornings are
late to get started and we've had some cloudy days. As for the manicure, I haven't done that - got in the habit of keeping the nails short the year I lived on the farm & milked cows - and continued it after I learned to type.
