                If a teller were to tell me that, I'd tell him or her I'd have a meeting with the manager, tell him or her about it and also tell him or her he or she should get a different teller...

                Wow, I wonder if the woman's supervisor makes them be that way. Perhaps there's an automatic counter that can't read them otherwise?

                Hopefully she was just having a bad day and is not like that all the time.  I haven't gone inside my bank for a long time.  I use the drive up if at all possible.

Not a very good way to manage customers, I have noticed lately that bank workers seem more miserable than they used to be. Surely a polite explanation would have been wiser.
