I think they are more a function of cash and convenience than weather. But I'm one of those that rarely cares about the car being washed. I'd like to get the inside done more than the outside, but I keep so much stuff in it (for convenience) that it's a chore.

I love a clean car. We had ours cleaned properly inside and out last week. Feels new.

With all the rain they get there, it's surprising on one level, but then on another level, I can see that people like their cars clean, and if they think it protects them to go to the car wash, then I guess they go!
