i hope to go travelling soon, i am an expert at travelling really light but always have room for a laptop so I can write. Never buy stuff to bring home anymore.

It sounds like such a wonderful visit you had with your friends, dear Kabu. How fun it must have been to show them the beauty of your home and yard and all the pretty places around you. They bought glass framed items to bring back? Oh my! Now do rest up.

Back to normal -- I think that's a beautiful idea...
Seems of late, what with the extremes of weather and the freakin' crazy politics, dull normal would be such a relief. And I'm glad to know you and Wiley weren't being baked under the sun or flooded or otherwise dealing with the whims of fate - but enjoying a visit from dear ones. Poor Mr. Graysome. But he'll be fine.
