It looks like weather has delayed a lot of home projects in the Western Hemisphere. I know construction workers are backlogged right now.

I hear you. It is so frustrating when we are forced to wait on others to do something we used to do with ease. But...that's the way it goes and getting worked up over it only makes the frustration worse. And if the gnomes want to take a round out of this guy for showing up late, make sure they try that AFTER the job is done!

So many of those guys just show up whenever the mood hits! If they ever kept to a schedule they could make some serious money, methinks. It does sound like you have a good plan, and having someone do the work ain't half bad an idea! I do hope the man shows up though. Black will be nice, but I didn't know green was 'so yesterday...'
