Kabu
You could always have a small pond with goldfish and frogs and virtually no maintenance, as long as you keep herons away...

Buy in haste repent in leisure I couldn't afford to waste water, but I suppose it recycles it. You could have put soil in and planted a water loving selection. I'll tell you what I'll buy it if you pay the postage. Second thoughts I'll get one from China. Could you decipher the abreviations Into Googly Gook, I can translate from there. I still think you could have a good bog garden.

Sorry you had all that trouble! My goodness that's frustrating. I love that fountain. It's so pretty. And a great idea for next year. I would like a bird bath perhaps...

It sounds like you have a good plan for next year...One day, I would like to get a fountain at my house. I do not have a homeowner's association. Therefore, that is not a problem unless there is a county ordinance that I am unaware of.

Your bit about adapting the fountain reminded me of those painted
rocks you did a year or so ago, which reminded me that at The Center, there's a rock painting program going - someone brings some suitable rocks, they paint them and put affirmations on them - "be kind" or "love wins" or such things, with little hearts and daisies, etc. Every time I find the box waiting for me when I come to work, it's all I can do to resist doodling something... And I tell myself to be sure and tell Kabu.
