Don't fall!
Remind him of how serious a fall can be if he falls and breaks a hip!!! Walkers are wonderful and come with a built iin seat too! They can carry stuff and you don't have to take it into public if you don't want to. ;)

to continue because the first comment zapped itself before I was ready...
Now, what was I saying? Something about folks resisting the use of walkers... but they will move through the big room at The Center, holding on to one chair back and then the next. They don't really need the things, but holding onto one gives a sense of balance and they move around with more confidence.

Yes good idea, stairs are always a worry for elderly folk, better to sleep downstairs if one can. Anyway Wiley showed initiative getting out of the bin on his own. She seems a good type of carer, take care you do not trip in the garden.
