Both my brothers and sister have that problem of rapid heartbeat. They seem to control it well by being monitored. I am lucky so far I only get it if a lady smiles at me. That is not very often, so I have to make do with kind words on Blogit.. I hope Wiley is OK>

What a scare! But I'm so glad things are under control again, and I know Wiley couldn't be in better hands! Please give him my best...

Ugh... AFib scares me as it was what caused my mom's stroke. She was experiencing it, but she either ignored it or didn't know.
They have so many great options to combat AFib now, so in my case, it's quite sad to know that what happened could have been prevented. Your post worries me but I also know you're a nurse and Wiley couldn't be in better hands!!
Dont forget to take care of yourself too (nurses are historically very bad patients).

Re: Kabu
I know you're on high alert, Dear Kabu, and the stress is tough on even the most secure and experienced nurse - especially when their favorite patient is struggling a bit. Take a deep breath, sip a cup of tea and watch some goofy stuff on TV. Count backwards from a hundred, take long deep breaths to the count of 8, then blow it out until you feel better.

Oh, what a fright for you both! Good thing you are a nurse. So sorry to hear of this, dear Kabu. I do hope you are both doing better. Give my love to Wiley, and my best to you also, sweet lady! Prayers.
