OMG! It sounds like a very bad night. I hope tonight is better, dear Kabu, and that the damage is minimal to your yards. The stuff of nightmares, for sure, but then I guess you didn't sleep long enough to even have a nightmare!

I think perhaps under the bed would be the safest place , no wonder you were scared. One does not want trees too near a house for obvious reasons. Everything seems to come together, poor Wiley. I hope he is OK.

You are right…those are not regular storms! I, too, like a good thunderstorm but not like that. I must say your shenanigans of trying to take cover under each other made me laugh!!!

Sounds like one of our summer thunderstorms - often with
high straight-line winds and tornado funnels reaching down from the low-hanging cloud ceiling. Glad you are able to blog about it... It seems the Gulf Coast storms are moving north to the Great Lakes and beyond.
