Kabu
I actually read this story and the earlier cliff-hanger before, but was interrupted before being able to make a comment and forgot to get back to them. Anyway, great experience, if a bit nerve-wrecking at first...

The title caught me. LOL. It sounds like Bangkok has a very rich history. I have never been to a Buddhist nation.

Actually, I feel a bit jealous. In a good way of course. 😀

The title caught my attention. I'll read the series from the start and only then comment. Seems quite interesting, Kabu. You have trevelled a lot.

You were lucky having that wooden leg was a blessing in disguise. I bet your old man ex would have thought it a wheeze.

Kabu in Thailand
I am glad that your tourist ride turned out to be legit. Otherwise, we might not have you here with us...... the temples in Thailand are truly amazing, with the labor and craftsmanship put into them. If you saw the Emerald Buddha, then you went to the royal temple, the Wat Phra Kaow, which is the crown jewel of all temples in Thailand. I have been to a few temples where they have the skeletons or mummified bodies of revered monks on display...... that was a bit too much...... Cheers

I think the scare was worth it - what a fantastic tour of the temples, etc.

Kabu
Dear sweet Kabu, you can make the best of any situation and that is a gift. I'm excited to follow along on this trip with you! I'm amazed at how you were able to be brave enough to travel alone to all those places. Major kudos to you.
