You had a very memorable Hong Kong experience, I see...I would like to see there for myself one day.

Despite the overspending I'm sure the enjoyment was totally a memorable experience. Hong Kong is indeed a beautiful and vibrant city! with its Kung-fu people. Your 40 year old single lady reminded me of a honey-pot I recently went visiting in Chikamagalur, a hill station near Bangalore in the Southern India. The hostess at the place we stayed there was a single, 28yesr old (married) beauty, where we were the bees. We even picked up costly coffee wine she made and told her how delicious it was! Her husband used to be out overseeing the coffee estate. So, there ends the story.

Beautiful memory for sure. I guess you didn't have a phone then to tell you the time.

What an adventure of a lifetime! I don't think I could have been to adventurous! Take care with a tornado coming. I hope it misses you, dear S. Sister. And 84 pounds is too thin, as you know. But custom clothes are always nice!

Well I expect you were a novelty in those days. A princess escaping from a cruel warlord.
You were a bit reckless with your money, but I suppose that was part of the big adventure.
