Dad was very generous and the temporary relief must have been wonderful. To me it sounds like lymphadenoma starting perhaps in the lymph nodes under his arm.

Well I have handled paraffin years ago been soaked in it ,the only bad thing it did for me is to make my hair grow so fast. Your old mate was misfortune but at least one knew where the problem re-acted.
