Steering is fairly obvious to see, but seeing the first on a brake or the gear is not always the case.

I agree with Nautikos..... they are idiots.... but we are all fools about something sometime. Why don't you have one of the workers check the status of the customer's car, right before they go in the tunnel?

Conveyors use rollers to pull the car through. So if the brake is on, the rolling goes under the tires.
I'm guessing you are either on a conveyor belt or using an in-bay automatic where being in park is fine.
