That the CAT scan showed nothing unusual is excellent! For the rest, sometimes adjusting medication dosages helps, but I'm sure you know more about that than I do! Anyway, I'm sure Wiley will soon be fine again...

So sorry to hear this is continuing. Hope the new doc is helpful. Is Wiley able to tolerate Lomotil? I was once on Cipro for a month for an infection, and let me say, that medication's side effects (at least on me) would solve Wiley's problem! Seriously, when I had Wiley's problem, a doctor told me not to put more than an ounce of anything into my stomach at a time because the intestines are so distended and irritated; that they don't need to do any work until they return to their normal state.

Hang in there, Nurse Kabu. One day soon the mystery will be solved
and your sweetheart will get a break from the mizzeries! I've read lately that excess coffee is a trigger for some bowel spasms, but I'm not sure how much confidence I place on some of those internet-based "exposes". Crossing my fingers the Dr. visit tomorrow will bring a solution.

In my experience, anxiety can have that effect. Maybe a few days of The Golden Age of Comedy, some Laurel and Hardy, a few favorite comedians...?

When my mother was about to give birth to me her doctor was out playing golf. And he couldn't make it back in time. My mom wasn't very happy about that. With her epilepsy she needed her doctor. The only one that knew how to hamdle it! Anyway, I feel bead for Wiley. Please tell him that I hope her feels better soon!
