I would have thought they would keep coming in the summer to avoid the work! It sure is faster to go to the car wash! sam

The business is thought through as thoroughly as I'm sure that your car washes are kid.

Here washing a car in the driveway is frowned upon. Most people use the car wash.

Every Sunday folk would be out washing cars, rarely ever see it now. I don't really know what they do but I suspect they get a wash when topping up fuel.

mostly in Australia because of environment and always having water shortages one isn't allowed to shampoo a car in their driveway.

I think the analogy is more like brick and mortar stores losing business to those who make their own clothes at home?
If you really want to get the people who want convenience, start an on-the-go service, where you set up a makeshift shop in the parking lot of a few big companies or malls. I've seen and used this service. People go to work or shopping and their cars will be sitting in a parking garage all day.... so you offer a car wash while they're inside. By the time they come back, it's clean. Win win and saves them the time of driving to a car wash. Dry cleaners do this in large office buildings too. Great idea.
