Big cities and big crowds can turn a little scare into a huge panic...
I have to bow to London, though, for it's top shelf security - well-trained police, all the cameras, etc. Shame of it is they've had to be prepared since the 1930s, WWII and all the stuff that's gone down ever since. Pity.

Events of today can make us think about similar events from years ago. My heart goes out to England.

What experiences you have had. My choices of traveling were mostly to the wilds of nature in places with the least amount of people as possible--mountains, rivers, forrest, trails into the outback, ghost towns, and not having to shop at all.

Not much sadder than hatred between neighbours, Memories lay dormant I guess.
Some have to mourn and the world spins on. It can only get worse.

every time I see one of these horrible events, I'm taken back to 9/11. Life goes on but the fear stays... and of course, that's the ultimate goal of terrorism. Sending prayers for London today.

Oh, my, S. Sister, what a fright those times must have been! I remember that happening but to have been there! I can't imagine. Yes, I am also sorry for what happened yet again. Good post, it brought those times back.
