Oh, the stories she must have! I wish I had gotten to know the elderly couple who lived across the street from us when I was in my early 20s; they were both survivors of the Holocaust, and had the tattoos to prove it! Don't think they spoke English though... Wish her a Happy Birthday. She deserves it.
