I did not watch the Oscars either. I feel like all of the award shows are the same. That is great about TAPS' relative.

Do you good to get away for a few days when it is warmer. I am afraid I would only offer a toenail to get an Oscar.

Kabu
You wanna do research? There are good books on doing research - Barzun & Graff, The Modern Researcher, for example...

Your research sounds fun, dear Kabu. As for the Oscars, I did watch. Some of my cousins and I make a game of it; we make our picks and see who wins, having the most correct choices. Works for us. Then again, my sis hates the Oscars... LOL!

While you're researching Bruno, you may want to look up some
of the writings of Jay Miller, a field Anthropologist from the Pacific Northwest. Jay taught at Seattle Central while I was there and has dozens of published items on the customs and religion of the NW tribes, such as the Salish, the Lummi and others. He may have written something on the Bear Clan... (He taught at Seattle Central while I was there and gave me some insights on a Native character I was researching at the time.) He compiled and edited a widely distributed book called "Mourning Dove" - the writings of a Native woman that were found in the attic of her house after her passing a hundred years ago.

That type of research sounds really neat, especially the interviewing of native Americans. But, since I've decided not to travel anymore, I think that instead of taking a trip, I'll just take a hot shower and get comfortable and perhaps some day read your "Bruno".
