I think tidy is nice. Clean is healthy. But there's so much other stuff
to do that's more entertaining than - ugh - housework. With cooking you have yum, with crocheting you make something out of "nothing" and taking a walk gets you a fresh perspective... And especially Blogit brings insights and outlooks, details and sometimes a bit of knowledge. Jokes! Oh, we can't forget the jokes.

Oh how I miss all things being tidy. I have collected so much stuff...just stuff I could not get rid of at some time but now I want the thrift store to pick up half of it.

I know what you mean with the melting snow, it ends up making more of a mess than snow by itself would make! It will be melting here for two more days and then the temps drop and we are left with ice! YUCK! How cool that you are getting close. It's good for both of you and you'd make the perfect mom, so you are giving her something she will cherish for her life! It's what make you so endearing! Love you dearly, too! Your sam I am

The ladies that come here are very sweet. And they can work circles around me. I always have snacks and beverages for them and am happy by the time they leave! lol. The whole house is clean, and I can reclaim my space, and am grateful for them. There is no way I could physically do what they do.

I feel that way about the lady whose house I clean once a month. She frets over me and has a great time listening to my adventures. I on occasion take baked breakfast breads which she and her daughter portion out very carefully. They both keep count of who ate how much!

Morning it is 7pm here, you must set your alarm earlier. Archie has discovered a role for cleaning. He would not suit you he grumbles all the time and says my house is a disgrace . I tell him I will Hoover the stairs but he will brush them down and spread cleaning paste over every where. Of course it is basically my fault I taught him how to scrub chicken houses out when he was a toddler and he still thinks like like a veterinary helper. No we don't bond or tell boy jokes he is too busy grumbling. Don't forget to use the toothbrush.
