If Lucas really does have a gun permit for that gun, then he was violating the rules of the permit. You are not allowed to display your gun, for any reason other than to defend against a threat to your life or others' lives. Lucas was abusing his permit.

As you say - never a dull moment! And I don't know what the law says - it might be legal to show a gun (tucked in the waistband, for example), as opposed to pulling it out...

Never dull but also very scary. I don't think that I could live where people carry guns. I mean that is a threat to kill or grievously injure and where does it stop. I cannot believe the police didn't rush to help. be careful darling. You and all of your family.

If they are like our police, it would be a job to contact them. Thankfully a gun is prohibited, Although Archie had an old obsolete shot gun in his shed and when he told the police two policewomen arrived.
