Whoa, shiver me timbers! I've had outages when ice storms hit;
no fun! Glad the power came back on in time for you guys to be able to stay home; no place like home, especially in winter.

The power always seem to go off for oneself at the worst of times, which a snowy, cold night fits the description of.

You poor things, a good job you have transport. I would buy some really warm down filled clothing to wear in situations such as that. Something that is used in the arctic.As I said to Arthur yesterday remember when we used to run from bed light the oil stove and stand holding our vest over it . Those were the days.

Oh no, that's terrible. It's very cold here, but we haven't been without heat.

Oh, you poor things! I hope tonight is better for you and your power stays on. Hope you two are warm, safe and comfy, S. Sister.

Looks like you could use an alternate heat source.
Maybe a woodstove? Or a generator?
I'm glad you're cozy again!

Brrrrr... I'm so glad you're warm again and not having to burn
the kitchen table in the fireplace to keep warm.
