Yes Kabu I was looking at a common item a torch battery buy one £3-50 buy 50 cost £1-50 each . May I also mention that your old country is not too good financially.

Although they say that here, so what can one believe. I suppose the drug firms argue that it takes years to test before marketing a drug, but you have some bright young sparks down under. I wouldn't mind sleeping with a bear these cold nights if it was friendly.

This clearly shows if there is a will then surely there is a way. But those driven by profits and money don't care.

Here is to hoping that the cost of medicines can come down. That woudl make a major difference in health and thus the world.

Kabu

Wonderful post, dear Kabu! Yes, indeed, child's play for those high schoolers, where the pros just couldn't or wouldn't do it! If only more of this could happen. Pharmaceuticals are out of control, even with "controlled" drugs... LOL! It must stop, it's extortion.

Big pharma is cleaning up in the marketplace to an extent

the street dealers can only envy... It's pretty interesting that high school science students can create cheap life-saving equivalents when "the professionals" could not.
