Thank you everyone , especially for some ideas for Wiley. he just isn't interested I am afraid. I have coloring books for adults and he did paint some bird cages but can't get himself to do any more. He doesn't open his laptop most days nor does he enjoy reading. I am praying that he gains a bit more pleasure in other things besides TV soon.

Re:

Watercolor paints are fun.  I did a few years ago and really enjoyed it.  Sleeping in front of the TV is also fun.  LOL

Well I have just bought some watercolour paints. I can't draw or paint but I thought  it will be something different to do at Xmas . I would not mind watching an old western. Perhaps I'll sleep through it.

A lot of people are into Netflix nowadays and find a great amount of value in it.

It was a fun-cum sad read, but enjoyed your giggling at Wiley's angry back. Find him something interesting

I know what you mean when a series is completed! It's like losing an old friend! sam

I never got into that one...

But I have binge-watched a number of shows and still will occasionally start again with THE WEST WING simply because it is such good television! Have you seen that one? I believe Netflix has it. It follows the two terms of a President I would have voted for happily, if only he were real! It has a fantastic ensemble cast, really smart writing, and is generally realistic, rather pro-Democrat, but not always making them look better than real people are. It goes on for many seasons, so it isn't done with too quick.

There is another 'politics' themed-show, a comedy with John Goodman and others, that pokes fun at the Republicans by hanging out with four housemates who are all senators. It was created and written by the same fellow who created Doonesbury, so it is clever and funny, but still has heart. It only runs 2 seasons of half-hour shows.

If you like westerns, the Lonesome Dove series is a good one, too.

Sounds as if it's a good drama with nostalgic memories love.

Yes, Wiley (and you) will need a new show to enjoy. You take such good care of him, darling Kabu. Mind you don't stay on that computer too long; it gets to the back and makes owies, big time. Always fun to read your posts.

I saw a bit of one episode of that - it appeared as part of a review

I think on the PBS station. It looked very interesting.
