I agree with Katray,  that Trump will be managed and moderated and guided by wiser people than he.  I do not like Trump.  I voted for his name on the ballot,  but not for him as a person.  I voted for him as the Republican,  as the opponent to the Democrats.  I voted for him as the conservative,  as the opponent to the liberal pacifist radical progressive movement that Obummer and Hellary represent.  Hopefully,  Trump will learn from his mistakes and sins of the past,  which were exposed in the campaign.  Hopefully,  he will be transformed by the office of the Presidency,  and be a decent President for all of us.  But the more extreme liberals will have to be dragged,  kicking and screaming,  to grow up and face reality.

FSI,  I think your car wash business will be largely uneffected by the policies of Trump's administration.  If there is any effect,  I think it will be positive.  He wants to reduce business regulations and taxes.  Your business will pay less taxes,  and your customers will pay less taxes.  That means more money for car washes.

And a final word about the Democratic assholes who are rioting on the streets.  They are breaking into stores,  smashing things,  starting fires.  A man who voted for Trump was beaten to death.  These rioters are criminals,  pure and simple.  Grow up,  crybabies.  GET OVER IT.  You lost,  so you should be trying to figure out WHY you lost,  even though it is so obvious to those of us who do not drink the liberal kool-aid.  You are showing us the true colors of the Democratic party and philosophy,  and it is very ugly.  These rioters are like bullies and tyrants,  who get violent when they do not get their way.  Eight years ago,  when Obummer won,  Republicans and conservatives did not riot and smash things and kill people.  We accepted the result,  moved on,  and opposed the Obummer administration in a peaceful and legal manner.  That course of action just paid off,  big time.

I am not an American, but...

I may confess something to you:

I've got my worries for you and your society.

I don't know Trump or his "play mates", but what I've heard at the News (even in Denmark), I may say that I've got some kind of worries for you.

it was the biggest surprise almost ever, but  I remember when Nixon and Kennedy were running and I went to bed and Nixon (R) was winning but when I got up Kennedy had won.  My mom being a republican was so upset.  I have friends that have young kids that have been crying because of the outcome

I watched his speech before the voting and I think just maybe he might be the difference needed for change.

I think he will be managed, or at least the powers behind the throne

will try their best to do so. I am still in shock, never imagined he would be President. Many of us are wondering how his win will affect our lives and livelihoods.

It is a wait and see time. He isn't president yet, you must all just wait and see and I am sure that he will be meeting with many heads of state from countries around the World and althogh he will see himself as King over them all. he will find they have their own agendas. I am ols enough to remember when President Kennedy first met the head of the USSR, Nikita Khrushchev, he was very quiet and thoughtful. He had met a very difficult harsh man determined to rule his communist empire and not be coward by the USA.
