Reading your entry puts things into perspective. No matter what happens, I do believe that humankind will be able to go on.
I feel that the media has added a lot to the political turmoil that of which our country finds itself in as well.

Jesus is EVERYTHING when the world turns upside down. His LOVE is beyond
the writings of the finest poets, the most eloquent dramatists and artist. He cares ... nothing gets Him unawares. BUt tyhanks for caring deeply. shalom-shalom

As they say in the markets there is always Congress. The shock will rattle the world but what matters a hundred years hence.

Reflect, refresh, refocus, and we all hope for the best, S. Sister. What will be, will be. It's out of our hands now!

Maybe...
there is something to be said for where we put our investments, what we have to lose, what we have to fear, what there really is to fear... Probably not as much as our belly-butterflies suggest. It seems quiet here, too, everywhere I've been today.

Hauntingly lovely writing, Dear Kabu..

I think the statement: "The more things change, the more they stay the same" applies. Enjoy your lunch, I'm going out for dinner soon...

Well, I hope your premonition turns into one of those unfounded
deals that we sometimes get - days when it feels like another shoe is about to drop, but then nothing happens. Sip a cup of hot cocoa, maybe with a sprig of mint in it, and listen to some good old folks songs from the 60s or 70s - something by the Beach Boys or the Eagles...

That is quite a post you wrote today. I can feel it all just from your writing.
It is a beautiful, sunny day here in the 60's and everyone is busy about voting and there seems to be a hopefullness in the air. I think everyone is happy to get this part overwith and move on to whatever comes next.
