Very interesting post. I always felt that my dad would get his own way whatever. He was very personable and very determined. But, I was never aware of his business confrontations. It was just the way I saw him.

It is shocking when we realize a strong parent has weak spots
I'm kind of going through that now with my Mother. A wake up call that does, I think, add to maturity. Glad everything eventually worked out.

I think I would have been swearing and cussing if it had been my Dad, but I guess he would have listened to my viewpoint. Tough time for you though.
