Re: Taps
I would imagine that there have been several near civilizations that have been obliterated by the changes on the planet Taps. We just don't know.

Re: Naut
Yes it is a bit difficult to convey what was on the walls it seemed to be sloping lines with different marks behind which I took to be the the different line of the tribes I think they were sloping because it was the way in which the bodies were disposed. Little bumps on the lines probably meant it was a woman and the short ones a child. Perhaps the main character was the Step hen Haw King of his period. Thanks for reminding me.

A Neanderthal's memories - well done! Even if they didn't write - but of course they thought...

Wow! How interesting. I spent some time in the National Museum of Natural Sciences in Madrid Spain when I was there. I loved their studies and dioramas of caveman life in Spain.

One can feel the isolation while reading your poem...It reminds me of Simon and Garfunkle's "I Am a Rock."

Yes, it does remind me of that book also. An imaginative subject matter with lots to think about. How hard it must have been to survive in those days. Well told.
