She will be OK. Perhaps the Spirits of the forest will guard her. Could another more friendly bear come near? One that escaped from a zoo. It could cuff Bruno around the ear if he didn't behave.

Ray has a reasonable concern b/c when feeding nature in the wild, people that are animal lovers must proceed with extreme caution b/c the animals don't readily know friend from foe!

I second RPresta's good riddance!
I need to go back in your posts to the beginning of Bruno's story as I don't remember Wendy, but I was gone for a good bit so I have some catching up to do, which I look forward to..:)
