The scent of the human must be overbearing for Bruno and you tell this story so well Kabu with interesting bits of info and we can just see how the surroundings look.

I remember from time to time seeing bear tracks in the mud along
Mill Creek - also deer hoofprints, little raccoon "hands," and if I stood still for a minute there would be speckled or rainbow trout darting out from among the branches of a fallen tree. Your story takes me back to those little escapes.
