A bit late now, but perhaps the lad should have had his own pen covered over of course.

Oh, my goodness. That's just too funny. Except for the claw marks. Do be careful, and don't use hydrogen poroxide to clean the arm. Just nice warm, soapy water. We have crows and grackles here, and they drive poor little Sunny round the twist!
