So sad to think that it still happens today, things we do not know about mostly. Good story though.

Sometimes the two-leggeds with firesticks don't act humanely...

At least among the creatures with no written language, killing has a purpose, it's not just to collect trophies.

One can feel the inner tension within Bruno.

Told so realistically Kabu, could picture the whole episode. Well done.

Kabu

One's heart aches for poor little Bruno, and all the cubs who have lost their mums/mamas. We want a safety net for him. And you tell it so well. I love it.

Bruno

A vivid life story; as Bruno's mother chews away at her own claw to free herself, this story reminds me of humanity... The pain of trying to free ourselves!...

That's almost too real.  It makes me think of poachers killing elephants for their ivory tusks.  Such good writing.
