This reminds me of a poem we had to write during my high school sophomore year where we had to do choose an occupation and write a love poem from that. I went with a mathamatician. Your poem would have done well in the class.

Someone asked the guy at the restaurant in town here about, adding turkey pot pies. The man told the owner that a place around the corner has them. The owner said that he'll "find out."
