Re:

I agree with you Taps. It would be hard to see on what grounds he could be blocked, since religious freedom is a Constitutional right, if I've read it correctly. Good old Wikipedia (smile).

"The United States Constitution addresses the issue of religion in two places: in the First Amendment, and the Article VI prohibition on religious tests as a condition for holding public office. The First Amendment prohibits the Congress from making a law "respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"."  (Wikipedia)

There's always something to fight about or be sensitive about - I'm just so tired of it Naut. These feelings stem basically out of insecurity and the need to control and pure ignorance! Look how it has escalated!

Thank you for reading my entry but am really not sure who/what RP is??LOL.

This may be a good thing

Let the Sunnis of Saudi Arabia and the Shias of Iran attack and kill each other all they want.....  but they will unite against us,  the Great Satan of America.  So the more they destroy each other before the greater coming battle with us,  the better.  As for the Supreme Court nomination,  I think it will be blocked.  If not,  God help us all.......

This does a great job showing the issues between Sunni and Shia, something that often gets ignored...Hopefully, the Senate blocks him.

Nautikos

Yep, the Sunni and the Shia have their differences, 1,300 years worth. And we all will watch the Supreme Court potential appointment...
