I like snakes, too, and am glad that in the main, N American ones are benign. Copperheads are eastern, but not likely to be found that far north, but you would certainly know one if you saw it! According to the info I've read, they are not as venomous as some, though children and the elderly or ailing folk should 'seek medical attention' if bit. According to other search info, "There is no poisonous snakes in Quebec." No editors, either, apparently.

Always, thanks for sharing your corner of the world!

The triplet fauns at the place of Son #3 & Phil are still spending most of their time there. Their mother comes now and then to check on them but seems to know it is a safe place for them. They come up out of the woods by the creek early in the morning and watch Son as he sits out with his morning coffee while Phil is bathing for the day. Phil has to play in the water for at least an hour or he is not satisfied, so Son enjoys that time out with the critters.

Well I hope they are not poisonous, I suppose they are no different to most ,if you ignore them they just become more docile . Most of the nanabanas are green in the shops here at first, I think yours must have been very immature.

Things of been quiet on the local news front for us. I consider that a good thing.
it is hard to believe that the gardening season is about to end, and the animals will be going into hibernation.

i enjoyed your post about your sis, the trip, your wee creatures and the snakes. I don't mind snakes, prefer they be outdoors though. Had one come inside once... Here we have a very nice food chain going also. I always try to buy organic bananas because they use a strong pesticide on them. Also on corn. Well, on everything! You two have a wonderful trip.
