Re: Re: Re: Kabu
No one cannot admire everyone. My Dad used to swear about his first cousin. We were always friendly with her though.

Re:
Hi mneme it is sad sometimes when one asks someone where their mother originated from. Vey often one receives a blank look and some even say she never told me. I suppose the art of conversation has slowly died with other supposedly more interesting
sources available. I hope you do ask your Mum. My Mum's first bungalow was £200. Be happy.

Re: Re: Kabu
I am sure it is protection, one just doesn't care about ever seeing a couple of cousins ever again. No need to be making a big thing because as you say, memories aren't always so correct when they do come back.

Interesting memories CCT - I'm sure you have hundreds more. I'm just old enough to remember the post-war rationing period (I think). I ought to write down my mother's stories before she 'pops off.'

Re: Kabu
I know Kabu I suppose it is a form of protection to forget, sometimes it does come back as something worrying but different to the original happening.

Years ago, before I was born, a small, private plane, crashed into the seating in the upper deck of Baltimore's Memorial Stadium. Thankfully no one was hurt. The hometown Colts were getting blown out, and many people had left.

Sometimes it's good to have something like the steeple and other
stone bits to remind you where you belong and that good old things do bring comfort.

Pretty flower there! Interesting poem also. The poem had the surprise ending that you do so well. Sad about the pilot though.

again a lovely flower. I do enjoy your garden
it is odd how a person can remember suddenly something that they had completely forgotten ...I had one of those remeberances several years ago and have had to deal with it.
