- Go to The Ego Has Landed
I was reading through the comments and wondering what I thought (no ego there then?), and Pat B's thoughts summed it up for me. I've learned that, for me, it's best to keep quiet and to be content to keep my opinions to myself. Now and again I will speak up, and it's sometimes surprising that no one contradicts! .. smile.

TAPS
An interesting post, touching on areas covered by writings that fill libraries! I was reflecting on all that on my hike with Bennie in the woods today - but I don't know where to start, much less where to end, so I won't go there at all...

I and so many others, yourself too I am sure have spent years studying the Bible. Expecially the End times. I want to be able to sate my views just as I state my views to those I meet who are unsaved. I have no right to harrass them however, I have a mandate to tell them on both counts. We are full from so many phrophicies and happenings. This will probably be our last time to vote. Where does one see total peace in the Bible. Jesus called those leading the church at the time all sorts of names, he also braided a whip and sent the guilty sellers out of the temple. I chasnged from a Democratc to a Republican because I saw pile upon pile of unGodly actions far more evil from the Democratcs that effected the public. We do have the best two candidates to choose from; however, they are all we have and Hillary Clinton is totally unfit for any office.

Always better to say nowt unless the first person agrees with what one is thinking. Diplomacy is a peace maker.

And we are each the protagonist of our own story: at least, the Right One if not the Good One, if not the Hero.

excellent post. Someone who's Ego has been destroyed is a very sick person but so is someone who's ego is bloated them to a God in their own mind.

Fortunately for the sake of peaceful enjoyment of common territory
I have achieved a level of self-confidence in my own correct evaluation of all things great and small, that I seldom have to make an ass of myself to prove my point at the expense of other idiots... I just smile and sip my coffee and let 'em think they've prevailed.
