It is amazing just how fast the time flies. It seems like 2000 was yesterday at times to me.
I have heard of paintball but have never played it. It does sound like fun.

I had cousins who were are you described your sons. My own family didn't see that, but then, I didn't have sons.

Dear Ladies, I can understand your lack of understanding
My life was not typical of most chilhoods, at least God I hope not ! My mother eloped to marry my dad. She came fro a somewhat prosperous family, youngest girl of 6 kids. Bobby sox, the charelston, foxtrot, . I was born in 54, she was 21. 2 years later, she is divorced..I'll make it short..as she had to work 2 jobs, we lived in the gov't housing in Shreve port , La. After school, she could'nt afford a babysitter for me. So, it was the Boys club and their boxing program, the YMCA, and their martial arts instruction, that kept me busy until she could come home...and for that reason, I have always been able to take of myself. I learned years ago that my brain and use of my bullshitabity have worked nearly as well as martial abilty to avoid hurting people..but believe me, when I think I have exhausted all discussion, I go to violence. It has allowed me to still be here..and friends know..am, or pm, if you're in a dangerous situation, call me,I will be there..I no longer fear death, could die tomorrow, who knows...but isn't nice to know, there is someone you can call that will be there when you need them, and be thankful for his violent ability ?

I never particularly wanted to get into a physical fight, but did so when I
was a kid and it was necessary. In my case it wasn't play, or fun. And to this day I don't understand why men get such a kick out of the fight game. Boxing leaves me cold.

LOL - yes - males, humans and most animals too, are somewhat attached to the fighting and pain and beating their chests. Silly buggers.

Yeah well; the world of males and the world of females - and never the twain shall meet entirely...

LOL, same everwhere with males, Dear Kabu!
I have two sons and their horse play, complete with dramatic whoops and yells, drove me crazy...I think we all survived, haha..
Great post...
