Neat! I like spiders - they're fascinating animals! What's more. many of 'em catch flies...

I don't mind spiders, but the do make a mess in the porch chewing up flies and spider droppings . I have a spray it is made from Chestnut Conkers I expect, they do not stay if it is applied, but it does not nobble them ,they just pack a suitcase and move on. Since we have put a net over the porch door the source of food would have dried up. Mind there is a litle bugger that runs around on the ground,it bit my hand once so i am wary of that kind of insect,

A lot of our storms, and rains, for that matter, have been misses with this summer. Temperatures have cooled down, though.

I like spiders, but don't want to share my space with them. I believe you feel about spiders the way I do about snakes, so I find you very, very, very brave!

I have this really good zapper that would send that spider to hallelulia land for you. I love you.

As a general rule I admire spiders, their industry, their art, the ability

to spin silk. But not the aggressive poison ones, not in the house. In some Native American lore, Spider is the spirit guide to musicians who play stringed instruments...

How interesting.  I watch closely for any spiders that might be inside, especially when it starts getting cold at night and they try to get in.  When I was a nurse, I had a patient that was bitten eight times by a brown recluse spider.  She had to have surgery on every one of them and was in the hospital a long time.

She is a beaut for sure! But she can keep her distance from me too, lol

I think I also have arachnophobia but their webs are fascinating. Hot and icky here too; I love freezing my room with the a/c and fan and curling into a light throw and reading/sleeping, haha. A luxury but I don't go out anywhere to spend money or gas in this suffocating weather due to my breathing so hopefully that makes up for my energy overuse and evens the ol budget.

I am not familiar with the different types of spiders except the dangerous ones we have here. Black Widow and Brown Recluse, the bite from either is horrible. I don't like them anywhere near me.

Wow, in the world of spiders, that one must be a beauty! I am happy if they live outside, preferably elsewhere. That's nice that you let it live. Perhaps a bird will find it tasty... Or not. There are brown widows and black widows here. One must be careful. I am not a fan of letting them hang around, literally (LOL).
