I'll have to write to your sister and say what a nice lady she is. At least you write to each other, there are so many siblings who do not recognize each other these days.
I suppose once when everyone lived near to each other, a good row would clear the air.
That's what I found anyway although I cannot go to the bother these days and just accept everyone as they are .I am like the lizard, stick yer finger in my mouth.

Great picture! Of course that poor butterfly probably ended up being the lizard's lunch...

Yes, the beauty of nature always outdoes the negativity of politics and terrible news for me.

What a lovely color that lizard is. I did not know a lizard could have such a neat color. Very cool.

In answer to your title question, yes, I am sick of politics
also "reality" programming, engineered drama, pointless power games. But I get a lot of joy from communicating with real people here on Blogit and in person. Your posts, and the others I follow here, restore my faith in human nature. Thanks for the photo of the brave little butterfly...

Lovely picture; does bring a big smile, Dear Kabu!
I agree with you; so much useless back and forth political theater here or else tragedy that I stay away from news channels and stations. It is draining and after what you've been through recently, smiles need to be the order of the day. I'm sorry about how things are between you and your sister. Family relationships are so complicated. Send her things like this lizard pic. maybe; I have relatives on fb who are wildly and loudly different than me, especially politically, lol, but we all can agree on the adorability of kittens, babies, etc....:)

What a pretty picture to think on, S. Sister! You are right, too much negativity is - well, negative! You and Wiley have been through a very stressful time; now you should rest and revive yourselves, replenish you souls. I understand your post. My sis and I are polar opposites. We know this, acknowledge it, and are fortunate enough to laugh about it. I wish your sis and you could do the same. My own sis hates just about everything I like, and I return the favor, but we don't care. My father and brother were also polar oppositves. In our huge family, we all learned tolerance early, though not always easily. So yes, sometimes it is better to just shrug it off and focus on the pleasant things. Your Wiley, your home, all of those things that bring comfort to you. Even Blogitsville, perhaps! Take care of you, dear lady.
