I can relate.....
My grandson Levi was 4 years old when we took him through an automatic car wash. He was apprehensive at the beginning, and when the red whirling things started beating on the car, making a horrendous noise, he started to panic, and screamed about monsters attacking us!!! My wife and I had to reassure him that the red whirling things were not monsters, that they were just good robots cleaning the car, and that they had to make noise to do a good cleaning job..... Thanks for bringing that memory back to me!

Haha - I remember the first time I took Grump through the carwash. He was in attack mode all the way through!

Wow! I never thought about all that. Here they have those kind, but people also go to the ones where you get out and they run the car through automatically. Then people wipe it and polish it, and you walk over, tip them, and claim your car.

Interesting points! I wouldn't have thought adults are fearful, but I guess there are people who are afraid of their own shadow, LOL...Bennie barks furiously at the guy who gives the car a once-over before we enter the tunnel, as he would at anyone who comes too close to the car. But once inside the tunnel he doesn't care...

I have seen the time I wanted to have my boys go through it without a car they were so dirty from playing. No it is not scary to me.

It could seem ominous if one is of a nervous disposition, I suppose you could hold a nervous young ladies hand during this risky operation
