Too bad and your Dad's words are sadly true, now moreso than ever..
There is something worthwhile about winning on principle instead of money, if one can afford that luxury. I always think publicizing the bad deed of the big guys as far and wide as possible is a type of victory too.

Well better than I expected I once bribed the oil company for a new tank. They sent me one that came off of an oil lorry.
