Well of course the reaction nearly knocks you over. No good worrying about the garden.
It will still be there, I would dab more hardy perennials in well that's what I am doing. Best wishes to the Boss, no not you . Wiley.

Our hot, humid weather has lessened thanks to some big storms we have received as well. We do look forward to Wiley's return to Blogit.

I'm not surprised - after all that it'll take a few days to get back to normal, and it may also take a day or two for Wiley to get used to the new meds.
And Ciel is right - what you've got there are ravens, much more impressive in appearance than crows, and even smarter...

i loved hearing about the crows also, and your yards and garden, but mostly I am glad you and Wiley are okay! There is a time to rest...revive yourselves and relax. Mr. G. has everything under control, I'm sure; even the gnomes! It's been such a stressful time for you two. Beautiful post, S. Sister!

From that huge black beak, I am guessing you have a raven there. Crows are not quite so impressive, I think--but there are so many corvids, and I don't know that much about the whole family.

Thank God
I'm so happy to know you're both well. Okay, Wiley could be better, and I sure hope he will get much better soon.
Since I've been away for a while, I haven't been able to follow up on his treatment, or what I should call it. But again, I'm so happy to know you're both home together.
Hugs.

some amazing posts here in Blogitville - is on a summer break from teaching and enjoying a hike in the hills with his lovely wife. I thought you'd like to know he's still teaching people how to write and how to be.

I'm so glad Wiley is home and under your brilliant supervision.
Grayson will regain his illusion of being in charge as you see fit to allow it. I had to laugh about the crows, getting too wet to fly. I saw a fascinating BBC production studying crows and how they recognize faces, make and use tools, and teach their young. I am a major fan of the crow, and remember when I used to have a crow "butler" who announced my presence any time I left the house to walk up and catch the bus to work.
