It is true, we see things differently as time goes by. It must have been very traumatic for Dad, and Mom too! I think your grandfather had seen a lot in his time, and thus formed his opinions. It's good you and your sis were not burdened by the lawsuit.

I am afraid that in most cases your Granddad is correct, the big money wins and it does not impress me about how so many humans act. Money is everything and hurting others doesn't count.
