I am continually on the watch for wasps. They must be continuously fought here. The maintenance men walk up and down looking at the front of the apartment buildings for places where they are collecting. Last summer they built a nest in my porch light ornament. They get inside the house every now and then. Pitiful used to be good at killing them when they got in. I miss Pitiful.

I don't blame you for not wanting them around, S. Sister, after what you just experienced! I'm nursing what appears to be a bite of some sort on my arm; it's been several days and it's growing, and I have a rash there now... Great! Cortisone so far should do it.

I have faced down rattlesnakes, coyotes, and viet cong with out running,
but my allergy to wasp stings sends me into hyper drive !! My next story also has to do with an orderly extraction to the rear..or run, dammit, run !
