Well Naut I think they can get away with it if they are paying 1K per week. That is what it is costing Archie's F.I L. They all have the tummy ache this week so no visitors.

I thought I had left a comment, but I guess I put it back in my pocket absentmindedly as I was leaving...Anyway, Old Folks Homes always remind me of penal institutions, and the title of Matron fits perfectly...Poor Robin will be cleaning his cell with a toothbrush...

Yes typical, perhaps she would never let him do little things for her. Yes it is quite chilly today little storms and windy. Archie keeps putting short canes to stake the dahlias and I have to keep putting little plastic caps on top. he pooh oohs it but it is easy to bend pick a flower and get poked in the eye.

nice twist at the end. We had an old man in the Nursing home where I worked and he would dry dishes for us. Made is wife mad when she visited. He never picked up a tea towlin 50 years of marriage.
I read you are having a typical English Summer...that would be, no Summer!
