it fascinates me here in Canada. i find the same faces and the same mannerisms as I do in Australia. Well that is amongst those that came from England Scotland and Ireland and Germany especially. So we are all cousins...so far here, we definitely have more greek descendants in Australia. Same climate I s'pose. xx

Of course not Kabu, Most folk think kindly of Canada and Australia so many blood links from the past. Well I must include America. Don't take too much notice of what I say, unless it is complimentary, we are not great ones for flowery language and do not like to upset husbands especially if they are big men. Gnomes have to put up with it but they can give ankles a nasty kick.

dear Friend...I don't think that there is animaosity between us and the dear old Dart. re your comments in my post.
We love being part of a Commonwealth and our heritage and the Queen. One day I suppose Australia especially, will become a republic but I think there will always be ties to the UK or whatever is left of it. No one will want to leave while ever the Queen is our titular head of State and I pray that we always continue with the West minster form of Gov. As Churchill said, "Democracy is a bloody mess but it is the best form of Government that we have.
