They did, but she had not been asked to testify. We know that because she had not been notified. A lot of times in television, they have "surprise" witnesses, but it really doesn't work that way in real life. The courts and the people have to know they are testifying.

So in the Oil Company's case, it was a matter of:

1. Their strategy did not simply include Mom testifying.

2. They had not thought to include her.

In the case of #2, her being seen could cause someone in the Oil Company to suggest having her testify.

I think it depends on the individual women as to how much they enjoy the game(s) and/or enjoy tailgating or not. Also, the men involved! LOL! Works for some, I guess...

I am surprised that you see it as a time when females shouldn't attend...tailgating. It sounds like fun.
