Uhh, no, that would be my sis! I have light hair, and yes, it is long!

Re: Re: CCT

Yes, risky business inviting stranger in, especially the Gypsy sort! They have them here, Travelers they call them. Any Gypsy blood of mine is from long ago, but the lore, the magic, the (good) spirit and the music in the soul seem to live on... Hmm, I smell a poem coming...

Re: Krisles

Once my father answered the door to a traveling Indian, He was selling silk garments

and they were very persuasive. Dad explained kindly that he was not interested, we kids were watching through the window. Suddenly the hawker became angry. 'You nasty gypsy, he  shouted. 'I'll bloody gypsy you, Dad  dad hollered and grabbed him by the collar, 'No you nice man.' The hawker shouted as he escaped. We kids were roaring with laughter.

Re: RPresta

RP. In the old days there was a gypsy camp roughly a quarter of a mile away,we lived quite a distance away from neighbors. Once a donkey fell down their well and we were besieged with gypsies asking for cans of water. Of course I was only small but I remember my mother handing the cans through the window. A bit dodgy to ask them in most were alright but now and again a little rogue showed up.

Beautiful poem with an even more beautiful ending. The Gypsy spirit runs far and deep.

How wonderful....I was told once that in a prior life I was a gypsy who was very proficient with Tarot.  I would love to believe it true......  I've missed reading your wonderful work.
