You were beautiful I think it suited you. We always wore pudding basin style . The barber put the bowl on our heads and shaved around it. But then the trend was for a D,A.
So that felt heavy on the back of ones head, well a duck would don't you think.

I never had the beehive, the style when I was in high school was
the shoulder-length flip, which you still see now and then in those old "mean girls" movies. The pony tail was another casual do that could be glamorized. I still think the beehive is a really cute look for a cute little blonde...

It is amazing how quickly the weather changes...In Baltimore, the beehive hairstyle was all the rage back in the 1970s or so.

Gorgeous pic! That you? Great, great post. Did you have Aquanet hair spray in Australia to hold that 'do' in place! Glad that wasn't your tree that broke! The free-flowing long hair of the '70s onward was a relief after that. Here's a secret: I still wear mine long... LOL!
